Instal the new Color Road +8/20/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() There's also a node edit button and a node properties button. I've only ever messed around in the editor making my own from scratch. ![]() I don't know how to effectively add to the existing cities list by editing the map that comes with the game. However, you can only name the city in the def files. There's a couple that sound like the same thing and I forget which one lets you add the city area. To add a city(village in this case), using that add tool, one of the add dropdown selections is city. One of those options lets you select a city of which you can jump to. To quickly travel to areas of the map, there's a button above the toolbar that comes with a dropdown showing a bunch of extra features. I am not familiar with building my own intersections. You'll probably want to change the intersection prefab, by changing that drop down to Prefab, then selecting the intersection of your choice. As long as both nodes aren't red nodes(root nodes), they'll connect. Select the node of the road you added and drag it on top of an existing node. To connect new roads to existing ones, change to the move tool, next to the add tool we pressed first. Click somewhere else again and it'll add another road node and build the default road section. Over the map area, you can click and it'll add a road node. Towards the right side of that bar is a dropdown that may or may not say "Road". To add a road, press the + button on that top bar. The top of the map editor has every button you need, and show the hotkey to activate each function quickly if you hover over the button long enough. If you opened the ETS2 map, you just need to press A a few times I believe, and it'll switch on/off the background. ![]()
